About the whole getting transferred thing:

What if we have it so that a lot of people are getting transferred to different facilities, and no one really knows where they’re going to end up or who they’ll end up with, so anyone who’s left the group we can say is at a different facility and we’ll also get the chance to add new faces?

A Friend in Need || Alice & Lily

Alice sighed. Of course Lily was thinking about Nick. She felt bad for all of them. Because no matter what happened, someone would end up with a broken heart. And Alice had grown somewhat attached to almost everyone at Bayview. So seeing them like that was hurting her heart.

“We’ll figure everything out with Nick. Promise!” Alice chirped happily to her friend. ‘You know, once he stops trying to kill me.’ She couldn’t tell Lily about that. She just couldn’t. Not now at least. A small smile and a light blush appeared on the girl’s face. “A-Are we?” She squeaked quietly.

Lily smiled at her friends optimism, and although she was confused and scared about what could happen with Nick, it helped cheer her up a little and focus more on the happy moment her and Tony had shared the other day, saving problems with Nick for the future. She thought she saw a bit of apprehension in her friend’s eyes at the mention of Nick, but she bit her lip to keep from saying anything, not wanting to darken the mood of the conversation-even if they both may have been holding things in at that moment.

“Yeah, you guys are freaking adorable!” Lily grinned at her friend. “I dunno, it’s just rare you find someone who is perfect for you, and I’m pretty sure you guys have.” She nodded, smiling still. It was true, somehow amongst all this craziness and darkness at Bayview, Aslo and Alice had been each other’s light. Tony was Lily’s light too. And every day Lily desperately hoped this hellhole didn’t break them all, or break them all apart.

Alice smiled brightly. She was lucky indeed. To have found that one person in all the world she wanted to spend forever with. Strange place to meet him but beggars can’t be choosers, right? “T-Thanks…” She said, a little shyly.

She crossed her legs, still smiling brightly at her friend. “Hey, Lily…do you ever think about life after Bayview?” She asked. “Like…what you’re gonna do when you get out of here?” The topic had been on Alice’s mind all too much lately. Well, more like would she ever get out of there…

A Friend in Need || Alice & Lily

Alice broke out into a bright grin and pulled her friend into a hug. “I’m so happy for you!” She chirped. She truly was. If anyone deserved happiness, it was Lily. Though if Lily and Tony were together, then what of Nick?

The girl decided not to ask. This was a happy moment, and it should be allowed to stay that way without both of them having to overthink about complications. Besides, Alice definitely wasn’t the type to judge. Lily could do as she pleased and she wouldn’t care, she’d always be there for her no matter what.

Lily smiled, hugging her friend back and enjoying her small moment of normality and happiness as she told her best friend about how she was in love. But she could not push the picture of Nick out of her head, of his face if he found out, what would he do to Tony? Did Lily love  Nick as well? She had no idea. God, why couldn’t things be simple?

Lily bit her lip again as she leant back from the hug. “But…..” She finally uttered, sighing and looking down. “What about Nick? I mean…I just….” She shrugged. “I don’t know.” She sighed again, looking up at Alice and smiling a small smile. “I wish things could just be sweet and simple like with you and Aslo. You guys are perfect.” Lily smiled. They truly were. Two sweet, crazy, amazing people who had found each other in this dark place. Lily hoped they found their way out of this mess of a place and found their happiness. They deserved it so much.

A Friend in Need || Alice & Lily

By the way she was talking, Alice already knew what had happened. And she couldn’t have been more happy for Lily. She really couldn’t have. Alice wasn’t sure why, but there was a slight flutter in her chest as Lily said she was her ‘best friend’. She’d never been anyone’s best friend before. She’d never really been anyone’s friend at all before Bayview.

“Yeah…” She said, looking at her eagerly, waiting for her to say the next part that the girl knew was coming. Alice wasn’t sure if Tony had told Lily about their alliance. She hoped he hadn’t. Because she didn’t want Lily involved in this disaster she was about to create. “What happened?”

Lily bit her lip, smiling like an idiot at the memory. It was still a perfect moment. “Well, um…he told…he told me he loved me.” She looked over at her friend, smiling. Although it had been a moment between her and Tony, it felt right to share that moment with Alice. Sisters shared their life together.

“And I told him I love him back. I know I do, I don’t even know how to explain it, I just feel safe and…complete with him…” She finished, nodding. She gulped back the strange lump in her throat to continue on with that dreadful ‘but’ in the corner of her mind. Lily bit her lip, wondering if Alice would judge her for still having feelings for Nick and then Tony at the same time. She knew it was stupid to think that, Alice and her had shared a lot and stuck with each other through a lot in their short time here, too much so for them to judge each other, but she still had a feeling somewhere that Alice disapproved of her taste in men. Lily sometimes questioned it too, but she wouldn’t ever understand how her own heart worked.

Alice broke out into a bright grin and pulled her friend into a hug. “I’m so happy for you!” She chirped. She truly was. If anyone deserved happiness, it was Lily. Though if Lily and Tony were together, then what of Nick?

A Friend in Need || Alice & Lily

Alice loved when Lily left cards for her. She wasn’t exactly sure why, but she loved it. The second she’d found it, Alice had darted off to the Rabbit Hole. If Lily needed her, Alice would be there in a heart beat without question. After all, who had put up with her madness all these months? And carried her burdens? Not so long ago, Alice had thought about if there was life after Bayview. And come to the conclusion that if there was, she would always keep in touch with Lily. She couldn’t stand the thought of being without her white rabbit.

She ducked into the Rabbit Hole, finding Lily waiting for her. She greeted her friend with a grin and sat down next to her. “Hey there, little white rabbit. What’s up?” Alice chirped in that uppity tone of hers.

Lily glanced up, smiling softly when she saw her lovely friend dance into the room. She flicked her lighter down, curling her knees up at her chest. “Hey.” She smiled, sighing afterwards. She didn’t know where to begin, she never really talked about these things. “Uh…I guess, I guess I had this…moment the other day, like major moment. And I’m buzzing from it, but I’m also hella confused. I feel like I need to tell someone, you know? Well, not just someone, I felt like I needed to tell you, Al. You’re my best friend.” She told her. It was true. Lily had close friends before, but she’d never really found that ‘best friend’ that people always seemed to find in life. She’d thought maybe there was something wrong with her human connections or something. It was weird how she’d found a few of the strongest in a juvenile facility.

Lily bit her lip, playing with a strand of her hair as she glanced down at the floor. “So…you know how I told you I had that….thing with that guard…Tony?” She started. She was sure she’d told Alice, or she’d at least figured it out. She hoped the head of Bayview hadn’t, though.

A Friend in Need || Alice & Lily

lily-greenwood:

Lily knew it was dangerous to be in the guards office after everything that was going on at the moment, especially when Tony wasn’t even on guard. Stupid, stupid, stupid she scolded herself as she rummaged around the drawers, popping her head over the desk every so often to keep a lookout. But Lily needed something to soothe her tonight, from the fear and confusion. She just wanted to stop thinking for a while, or have her doubts put to rest. Something. As she reached for the box of cigarettes in the drawer, Lily’s eyes caught sight of something that made her re-think her solution to her problems. A deck of playing cards. Okay, no, Lily wasn’t going to go and play Solitaire all night and sob while listening to that Adele CD she’d found in that walkman in the guards office earlier on. Maybe she’d do that later. No, the cards reminded her of something, or more so, someone that could maybe help her more than a bottle of booze or a pack of cigarettes. Alice. Lily had never been one to really talk  about her problems, she’d had friends back home but none of them were really the talking type, the ones you could go to about typical girl problems like boys and clothes, so Lily had been used to keeping it all to herself and letting distractions chase things away. But this place had changed that, Lily had found something with a few people in here that she never would have out there. She’d found love with Tony and a genuine friendship with Alice. Maybe something good had come out of the shitty situation Lily had gotten herself into.

She grabbed the box of cards, sliding one out and grabbing a sharpie from the desk, hurrying out of the room. Lily didn’t know where Alice was at the moment, but she hoped she wasn’t caught up in any of the shit the head of Bayview was running. She knew Alice probably had her own problems to worry about, and probably got sick of listening to Lily’s, but Lily just needed someone to talk to and Alice was like a sister to her. Lily couldn’t go to Tony about this because, well, it involved him. She knew she loved Tony, Lily could feel it in her heart and soul, but at the same time, she could still feel a tugging somewhere in her heart for Nick and she had no idea what the fuck to do. Lily popped open the Sharpie and scribbled on the card If you’re not busy, meet me in the Rabbit Hole around 6? Love, your White Rabbit xo and slid it under Alice’s door, making her way to the little room under the facility. She sat down on the floor, instinctively pulling a cigarette out from her pocket and flicking her lighter open, but for some reason she stopped herself and just sat there, staring at the flame for a moment before placing the cigarette down and simply playing with her lighter instead, waiting for Alice.

Alice loved when Lily left cards for her. She wasn’t exactly sure why, but she loved it. The second she’d found it, Alice had darted off to the Rabbit Hole.
